About Dr. Brown
Nathan Brown, MD, DMD, was raised on a farm in rural Alabama. The great-grandson of a trusted rural physician, Dr. Brown was inspired from a young age to pursue a career in health care to contribute to the good of society while satisfying his intellectual curiosity and desire to help people. He was introduced to the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery in medical school and knew that it was the best fit for him because of the unique balance between working with trauma cases and working with everyday cases.
Dr. Nathan Brown has been serving the Northshore area of LA since 2012. Since beginning his training, it has been Dr. Brown’s highest goal to provide high-quality, personalized care to every patient in his practice. He feels that it is critical to keep his patients well informed and educated about every step of their treatment plan so that they can be an active participant in customizing their treatment and achieving the best outcome.
Dr. Brown practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, providing the community with routine services, such as tooth extractions or the restoration of missing or damaged teeth with dental implants, as well as advanced surgical treatments, including corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, and full-arch restoration. He is passionate about restoring his patients’ oral health and providing positive oral surgery experiences to his patients.
