Northlake Oral & Facial Surgery is proud to announce our 2022 Smiles For Veterans recipient. This program provides one veteran in the Northlake region area with a free All-on-4^® treatment concept procedure.

Our recipient this year is Amos from Slidell, a 42-year-old Coast Guard veteran who now works as an estimator. Amos is a recovering alcoholic who has been sober for 2.5 years, and throughout his journey to sobriety, his dental health has deteriorated. Many of his teeth are missing, broken, or decayed, which negatively affects his gums and overall health. To overcome his addiction, Amos had to change many aspects about his life, from the way he ate and exercised to his outlook on the future. In his application, Amos wrote that he is very self-conscious about his teeth and does not smile very much. His hope is that by having a new set of teeth, he can continue to piece together his life’s puzzle and regain the confidence he needs to continue his journey in a healthy, positive way.

All-on-4^® Treatment Concept

The All-on-4 treatment concept provides patients with a brand new smile after just one surgical procedure. This treatment involves securing a custom prosthesis to four dental implant posts in the upper and/or lower arch. By undergoing the full-arch restoration procedure, patients regain the ability to eat, speak, and smile confidently!
